Don't know if I've sent you this picture of me with my Honda Silver Wing.  Great ride with no shifting.  I'm 5"4' and have no trouble flat footing.  Love the look of a motorcycle and have seen the Ridley.   Wish Honda would make a scooter that "really" looked like bike.  I would love the no shifting part.  Maybe someday they'll decide to reinvent their design.  Ride safe!       Marie (scootergal)

I am the proud owner of a 2003 650 Yamaha VStar. I had it custom painted, it took me me about a year to come up with the paint scheme, but I decided it was to be a good and bad angel.

I took it to Steve Contereas, a painter out of Fresno, CA and told him my idea. I could tell right off that you do not limit a artist, anyway I told him after much discussion to go with it and boy did he ever.

I love it and have won quite a few contest for the paint. I absolutely love riding my bike and in the 2 years that I have owned it I have 5000 miles on it and in closing I would like to say riding has been an emotional life saver for me. -- Rhonda Phillips

It's VTwin Mama's (aka Petra) newest bike! Here is my "Bumblebee," a 2001 BWM R1200C Phoenix. It only 2625 miles on it (!) and the inaugural ride of 128 miles today (6/4/05) was fantastical! Even though her official colores are graphite and mandarin, I see her as black and deep yellow, so Bumblebee she is!

I have a 2003 Honda VTX 1800 trike, converted by Wild West Trikes here in Utah (the kit came from Motor Trike out of Texas).  I am lovin it!  I put a triple tree on it and it sure helps the heavy front end and the steering.  You DO NOT lean on a trike - you stay straight and push-pull on the handlebars to steer.  It takes a little getting used to, but once you've got it, you'll love it.  I also took the Rider Education class which used the 2-wheels and, sorry, but I did  not pass  (it scared me).  I am not afraid to ride my trike anywhere.  So for this 51 year old grandma, I'm set! -- MobyKate

Here I am sitting on my trike, "Tiger Trike" (05-29-05) up in the Sierra Mountains, Central California. I live in the San Joaquin Valley, Central California. We had an Awesome Day ride up in the Sierras near Ponderosa, CA.

My Trike is derived from a 2001 Yamaha RoadStar "Midnight Star" edition, 1600, with a Voyager Conversion Kit.

The bike previously belonged to My Husband AND Me!

Until I went on "Wheel Of Fortune". You can read my "wheel" story at www.geocities.com/im_devo_3/WheelOfFortune.html)
I won enough to buy my husband a Brand New Harley of his dreams, so I could keep our "Tried and Trusted" Yamaha for myself and purchase the Voyager to MAKE IT FIT ME!  (I'm only 5' 0", "vertically challenged" *grin* )

I am the LOS Rep. & Webmistress for my local STAR touring and riding chapter ( www.star163.org )
So I am so glad I found a site like VTwin Mama's where I can read about other ladies experiences and share their knowledge and ideas with other women riders! I encourage all women to seriously think about riding your own bike, with a little thought and ingenuity you can MAKE a bike/trike work for you! THANX VTWIN MAMA!
Hugs, DEVO  : )
