Both my husband and I got that horrible feeling, you know like when you see something really dangerous and you start getting into panic mode. All we could think of was that big man sliding down the pavement with that tiny little girl as his buffer. Gives me the creeps to think of it still.
They do make a belt with handles to make it easier for a passenger to hang on (intended for sport bikes I think) but that would be a help for someone with a kid that is old enough to actually be on the back of a bike. Sorry SFW, I just get a really bad feeling about this little riders belt.

I don't think it would be likely that a child would stay under you in a crash it was just an image that popped in my mind but even one bounce would be too much. Softail , she was the sweetest little thing and just soo tiny, it really upset me to see her ride off down the highway like that. She wasn't old enough to hold on or to reach the pegs, IMHO she didn't belong there!
