It's a happy night

Postby softail02 on Mon Jul 26, 2010 8:19 pm

Big brother got his pro race bike running and did a little test ride in the yard :D :D :D :D It's been almost 2 years since it was run last.

Good thing we have 3+ acres, now we have a 4" deep rut to fill in and that wasn't even with a hole shot.
Nitro methane fumes in my nose, bike sounded good. Hope his new rider can open it up and place this weekend. His rider gets a flat test run on Saturday, don't know if he has the space to open the throttle or not.

Weekend weather is supposed to be good for here and Michigan. I'm tempted to ride up to the pro hillcllimb even though I'll be riding by myself. Throw some extra tie down straps in the trailer just in case I don't want to ride all the way home.

I tried to get a picture on my phone, clicked it before he got to the spot I focused on, still waaay to late, lol.

Extending into a happy tomorrow/today :D

Just ordered Moto GP and Indy Mile Flat Track tickets for the end of August

Now just need to keep fingers crossed for good weather that weekend.
Hoping work is slow enough to take off and go ride the parade lap on the GP course. Should be interesting switching from the road course pavement to the oval track and making those turns.

Fear causes hesitation, and hesitation will cause your worst fears to come true.

Even a bad day riding is better than a good day doing anything else.

It's a state of mind; Where you lose yourself and find yourself.
