Scootworks -Risers!

Postby KimL on Sat Jul 03, 2010 5:31 am

I am getting really annoyed with Scootworks. I ordered Risers back on 5/27 and still do not have them! I call every other day and it is a different reason. Computers down, they will sent today, we have coating problems and lastly we are just slammed with orders. I do not know what to think considering all the reasons I have heard. I know some of you guys have purchased Risers from them. Do I need to worry about my $ & not getting them?

Unless Scootworks is all of a sudden getting in trouble like so many others because of the economy, you should get you risers eventually. I've never had bad service from them before, so you might be justified in worrying. Please keep us posted, and hope all works out.

When I ordered risers for my C50, I wanted them right before a trip. Afraid that I wouldn't get them in time, I ordered them expedited shipping, willing to pay the extra. The lady there called me and said she would be shipping them out that day and I'd have them in two days, so she didn't recommend paying the extra shipping. Saved me some money and I had them in two days. I'm sorry to hear you're not having as good an experience. Hope you get them soon.

I have ordered many parts and have had much work done at Scootworks. I have always had very good service from them. I don't think they are slackers.

I ordered my risers and had no issues. Perhaps a letter asking whats going on might be in order.

I also ordered risers from Scootworks and there were delays as well. Joyce was very helpful and always ready to listen, but I think she was stuck in the middle between me and her supplier. I did get my risers later than I expected. When they arrived, I realized I got the wrong height- I didn't need as much lift as I thought. I called Joyce, returned the risers, and ordered a different size. The quality of both sets was excellent, Joyce was very kind, so I let go my frustration with how long it all took. I have ordered other items from Scootworks and have not had the same issue with delivery delays.

Hang in there and tell Joyce Lindsay from Arizona said, "Hi!" ;)

I have ordered a bunch of things from Scootworks, including risers, and I have never had a problem. I hope you will get them soon!

I am having issues also. I ordered risers and there is always an excuse as to why they aren't ready yet. I have a 4 day trip planned and risers won't be here. I ordered them the end if May. We leave July 12 and I won't have my risers. Thought I gave it plenty of time. Every time I get a different reason why they aren't ready. My husband got some from a different place in 2 days. Unfortunately my Honda Aero has difficult to find risers so I sm stuck.
