Special pins for msg board members?

As some of you may recall, the newest VTwin Mama ride map was originally created so that board members could locate each other should they be traveling (or just near each other). Of course once I got the map started I filled it with women's riding groups, events, etc.

I'm wondering if more board members would add a pin that is specific to being a board member? Then the ride map name would be the board name and list the city/state, experience level, whatever personal message desired, and that contact is made through the board.

Yeah, good idea. I'm not even sure if I ever posted on there, but I remember it being overrun with motorcycle groups (not interested) instead of individual board members. At least if the pins stood out, everyone would be easier to see.

I think that's good, so we could turn off all but the pins for message board members to see where we all are located.

Yes, all pins can be turned off except those that a particular person is interested in. I'll keep noodling on this.

I like the board member pin idea, but I also like the mc groups and events too. If there is a way to turn off pins you are not interested in it would probably be easier to read.

I'd love to be able to see pins for individuals! The idea of being able to toggle between individuals vs groups would be a great thing too. How's this progressing?


Okay, I found the map and the pins. . . I just seem to always be a day late and a dollar short.

I'm on hold with some things related to the board ... sorting, tossing, and packing have top priority as we're 2 weeks from closing and 3 weeks from moving. But once I'm a bit settled at our home in NC I'll be back at it ... crafting cool ways for us to find each other!
