I have been Jonesing for a Kuryakyn Power Point (12-volt power supply) for my bike for quite a while now. I found one that was $5.00 off the regular price plus free shipping so I popped for one. I was able to wire it to my battery and run the wires up under the tank and attach the unit to my handlebar with no trouble. Took an easy 20 minutes to do. Then the proof test......all systems go and no problems on a nice 60 mile ride after that this afternoon.
You can add my name to SFW's for being jealous of your ability to do this!!!!

I can plug in my phone/charger, GPS or anything else that can be powered up by using that Cigarette-lighter type socket. I can even use a power motorcycle air compressor if I had one. If I smoked, I could keep the lighter thingy in it as well. Really gals, it was just a straight-forward simple install that anyone can do and I know that you guys will do it too.
Great job!!!! I don't like electricity-so that is something I probably won't even try it.

Great job. Isn't it satisfying getting something like that done yourself, and not having to wait or pay for someone else to do. I've done quite a few things on my bike. Partly to save the cost, and partly just to see if I could do it. Get a great deal of satisfaction from it
In youth we learn. In age we understand (now if I could just remember what I learned)
Well actually, I have a big black and white 24"X36" poster of Andy and Barney in that silly motorcycle with the sidecar episode on my garage wall with a banner at the bottom that says "Checkpoint Chicky's Garage" and I'm out there doing something on the bike every day. I guess you could say that I have a shop of sorts.
