Dear Ladies,

I can't believe how great God is

I have sat on several bikes and only a few felt "right" but would need mods as I am 5"1'.

Thanks for your advice: "You will know when you have the right bike"

My very favorite is the Ridley but they are so expensive. I was in love with the pink pearl color and loved the 2 tone.
I have been researching bikes for 3 months (felt like a year or more). Low and behold, on ebay this week was the bike
of my dreams!!!! I would post a picture but don't know how to down size it

Anyway, they financed me, gave me free shipping (TX to VA) and put $200 towards my down payment. It is an 06 with only 2.6 K miles
I also can't believe it has all the upgradesI want (saddle bags, windshield, chrome engine cover, sissy bar, upgraded combo seat, luggage rack, upgraded grips that match passenger and highway pegs, the handlebar that comes back further than normal, white wall tires, among other things. It only has one scratch).

When I subtracted shipping, downpayment assistance and value of the add on's, I wasn't paying any more than the other 750CC brands:)
I am SOOOOOO happy, now I will be able to ride highways and do bike rallies and see more of the DC, VA, NC area to start yyyiipppeeeee

wow, sounds awesome, i checked out some online, they look real chopper like,at least the pictures i seen were, is yours automatic? cant wait to see pictures!!

My Ridley is not a chopper but ... any one know how to pair down pictures so I an add them on this www site?...and put it in the signature bloc too?
All RIdley's are automatic. I really enjoyed my scooter and would rather spend evey moment deffensive driving and jump on the freeways and travel anywhere with zero training time I didn't have a problem shifting my first time in the MSF class but want to be able to man handle my bike in case of close calls. I almost had 2 spills on my scooter: a skid and on gravel, but was able to keep my bike up since it was my size.

Congrats on your new bike!! I also have a Ridley...it's the 2007 auto glide sport in black. The pink and white is beautiful, a gal from my area has one....be prepared for alot of stares, this bike gets alot of attention.
It's great that the MC already has all the accessories....now you're ready to enjoy the RIDING


Don't forget to register your bike with the Ridley company. You'll have access to their Tech, newsletter and receive discounts for MC parts. If you plan to service the MC yourself or have a mechanic do the work....either way, buying the service manual ($80.00) is well worth it. I found the manual an awesome resouce tool and made it easier for me to do alot of the work myself.

God is great, I just got DH's permission to buy a new bike. NEVER thought that would happen. Although permission isn't a purchase,,,but that will come in due time,,,,hopefully spring 2010.
